A bespoke picture mount (also called a custom or made-to-measure mount) is cut to your exact specifications rather than a standard off-the-shelf size. This means it fits your artwork and frame perfectly. Our bespoke mounts are precision-cut from acid-free, archival-quality mountboard with a 45-degree beveled edge for a clean, professional finish.

Measure your artwork, then make the window opening 3mm smaller on all four sides (6mm total for width and height). This overlap ensures the mount covers the edges of your paper or artwork neatly. If you're unsure, we recommend measuring twice and rounding down - a slightly smaller window is always better than one that's too large.

Book mounts have a hinged top mount that opens like a book - really handy for pieces you want to look at often or change regularly. Your artwork sits between the top mount and a conservation-quality undermount, so it's protected but easy to access when you need it.

We use conservation-grade mountboard - acid-free and archival quality. It's the same material used by museums and galleries, so your artwork stays protected for years. Standard thickness is 1.5mm, which gives good stability and a professional finish.

We cut to within 0.5mm of your specified dimensions using precision equipment. Your artwork will fit perfectly and look professional. Just measure your artwork carefully and double-check the numbers before ordering - it saves everyone time.

Use our online configurator and select "Window + Frame" sizing mode. Enter your artwork size and your frame's internal dimensions - we calculate the borders automatically so the mount centres your artwork perfectly. If you're not sure of your frame size, measure the inside of the rebate (the lip the glass sits in) for the most accurate fit.

Window + Borders: You tell us your artwork size and how wide you want the borders. We work out the total mount size.

Window + Frame: You give us your artwork size and total frame size. We calculate centered borders automatically - handy when you've got a specific frame to fit.

Yes, we deliver made-to-measure picture mounts throughout the UK. Standard delivery is £4.95 with dispatch within 2-5 working days. All mounts are carefully packaged in rigid mailers to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. You can also collect for free from our London store.

Yes! Collection from our London Road store is free. Just select "Collect in Store" at checkout and we'll let you know when it's ready. We're open Monday to Friday 9:30am-5:30pm and Saturday 11am-5pm.

We guarantee satisfaction. If your mount doesn't fit because we got it wrong, we'll remake it free. If the measurements you gave us were off, we can usually sort it out for a small fee. Just contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Our online configurator handles rectangular mounts with a standard 45-degree beveled edge. For oval windows, circular apertures, or other custom shapes, contact us directly. We can accommodate most special requests for a small additional fee.
