Just had my Phil Thomas painting framed here. The framing quality is outstanding, it looks amazing.
Great experience. The staff were really kind, you can tell they genuinely care about creativity and the people walking in the door. It made the whole experience feel that much more personal. My order came to less than it would have cost from Winsor & Newton directly, which made it possible to get everything I needed without compromising on quality. Great selection, thoughtful service, and a warm atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!
Went yesterday with two paintings. First they quoted me a price which was double/triple what I thought it was worth; then they said it would take at least 22 days when time was of the essence as I needed it back within 14 days. So they lost out on £600.
They correctly pointed at high overheads; but sorry, this is not central London, and the prices are at least twice what they should be.
It was disappointing as I once had a total of about ten paintings framed there about 7 years ago. I found another place at 1/3 the price.
Lovely, family-run framing and art shop. Very knowledgeable and helpful for any requests. Would thoroughly recommend to anybody.
